In recent years, new trends have emerged in the Russian stock market. Brokers have started to independently match clients’ buy and sell orders without going to organized trading. The Bank of Russia is actively discussing with market participants the possibility of extending the time limits of trading sessions on the exchange. However, this issue affects the interests of a wide range of both institutional and retail investors. The regulator intends to establish its position based on a comprehensive analysis of the problem.
