Online financial literacy classes for the senior generation will begin on September 26.

The series of webinars by the Bank of Russia will help elderly people better navigate the world of financial products and services. Participants will learn how to manage their assets, handle inheritance, protect themselves from fraud, and use modern financial technologies more confidently.

The new educational course introduces the topic «Expanding Financial Horizons: Cash, Non-Cash, Digital Money.» In these sessions, retirees will be informed in detail about the differences between various forms of national currency, their advantages and opportunities.

The webinars for the elderly will conclude on December 13. Participants will be able to receive certificates of completion. To do this, they need to answer a few short questionnaire questions at the beginning of each lesson and actively participate in discussions.

The duration of each session is 45 minutes. Broadcasts take place on weekdays, from 01:30 to 16:10 Moscow time, so residents of all time zones can find a convenient time and date for the online class.

The schedule, information about the experts, instructors, and other materials are published on the project’s website.
