St. George the Victorious in silver and gold

The Bank of Russia releases into circulation on January 9 January 2024 the investment coins “St. George the Victorious”:

– silver coin with the nominal value of 3 rubles (catalog number 5111-0178);

– gold one with the nominal value of 50 rubles (catalog number 5216-0060).

Investment silver coin with the nominal value of 3 rubles (the mass of precious metal in purity – 31.1 g, grade – 999) has the shape of a circle with the diameter of 39.0 mm. The investment gold coin with the nominal value of 50 rubles (weight of precious metal in purity – 7.78 g, assay – 999) has the shape of a circle with a diameter of 22.6 mm

From front and reverse sides of the coins there is a protruding edge on the circumference

On the obverse side of the coins there is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, there are inscriptions: “RUSSIAN FEDERATION”, “BANK OF RUSSIA”, the nominal value of the coins “3 RUBLE”, “50 RUBLE”, the date “2024 year.”metal designation according to the Periodic System of Elements of D.I. Mendeleev, proof, trademark of the mint and the weight of the precious metal in purity

On the reverse side of the coins is a relief image of George the Victorious on a horse striking a serpent with his spear.

The sides of the coins are fluted.

The coins are of “antsirkuleithed” quality.

The mintage of coins – up to 500,0 thousand pieces each.

The issued coins are legal means of cash payment on the territory of the Russian Federation and are obligatory to be accepted at face value in all types of payments without restrictions.
