The Bank of Russia will issue a commemorative coin made of non-precious metals with a denomination of 10 rubles titled «Teacher» from the series «Labor Immortal» on September 12, 2024 (catalog number 5714-0101).
The coin is round with a diameter of 22.0 mm.
Both the obverse and reverse sides of the coin have a raised rim around the edge.
The side surface of the coin features interrupted corrugation with alternating sections that have different numbers of ribs.
On the obverse side of the coin, there are inscriptions around the edge: at the top — «BANK OF RUSSIA,» at the bottom — «2024.» To the left and right are images of a laurel branch and an oak branch, respectively. In the center are the number «10» and the inscription «RUBLES» below it, indicating the denomination of the coin. Inside the number «0» is a security element in the form of the number «10» and the inscription «RUB,» observable from different angles to the plane of the coin. At the bottom, there is the trademark of the Moscow Mint.
The reverse side of the coin features a relief image of a teacher at a blackboard and a desk with items related to the theme of education; at the top around the edge — a relief inscription «LABOR IMMORTAL.»
The mintage of the coin is 1.0 million pieces.
The issued coin is legal tender within the territory of the Russian Federation and is mandatory for acceptance at face value for all types of payments without restrictions.
