The Bank of Russia 100-ruble banknote, issued in 2022

The predominant colors of the 100-ruble banknote issued in 2022 are olive and orange.

The main image on the front side of the banknote features a fragment of the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin with its famous clock.

The reverse side showcases the Rzhev Memorial to the Soviet Soldier.

In the top left corner of the front side is the coat of arms of the Russian Federation. On the reverse side, in the upper right corner, the year “2022” is inscribed, marking the year of issuance.

A QR code is located in the lower right corner of the front side, which links to the Bank of Russia’s website with detailed information about the banknote’s security features.

The banknote is made of white cotton paper.

Two types of security fibers are embedded in the paper: multicolored fibers with alternating red and blue segments, and gray fibers.

Four fragments of a 2 mm-wide diving holographic security thread are visible on the front side of the banknote.

The banknote features two serial numbers located on the reverse side, consisting of a two-letter series code and a nine-digit number. The left serial number is aligned along the short side of the banknote, while the right one is aligned along the long side.
