The Bank of Russia banknote from the 2017 series with a denomination of 200 rubles

The 200-ruble banknote from the 2017 Bank of Russia series is predominantly green.

The main image on the front side of the banknote depicts the Monument to the Scuttled Ships in Sevastopol.

The reverse side features the State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve “Chersonesus Taurica.”

On the front side, in the top left corner, is the coat of arms of the Russian Federation. On the reverse side, in the upper right corner, the year “2017” indicates the banknote’s series year.

A QR code is located in the lower right corner of the front side, linking to the Bank of Russia’s website for details on the banknote’s security features.

The banknote is made from high-density white cotton paper with a polymer coating.

The paper contains two types of security fibers: colored fibers with alternating red and blue segments, and gray fibers.

Four segments of a 3 mm-wide diving holographic security thread are visible on the front side of the banknote.

The banknote has two serial numbers on the reverse side, consisting of a two-letter series code and a nine-digit number. The left serial number is readable along the short side of the banknote, while the right one is readable along the long side.
