The powers of Financial Ombudsman Tatyana Savitskaya have been expanded

On December 15, 2023, the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia decided to grant the Financial Ombudsman for the rights of consumers of financial services, Tatiana Savitskaya, additional powers to consider appeals in relation to insurance companies. Now her authority includes consideration of appeals concerning credit cooperation, activities of credit organizations, pawnshops, non-state pension funds and insurance companies.

Tatiana Savitskaya was appointed Financial Commissioner for the Consumer Rights of Financial Services on January 1, 2021 for a period of five years.
